So I pulled my Galaxy Note (2014) 10.1 out and did some doodling. I wanted to see how the tablet worked as an art rig. Even with eight and nine layers, it was still pretty responsive and the pen was accurate. My only concern is the resolution. I think my Ink app works in 72 DPI. I prefer to do production in 300 DPI. Like I said, this is a big art experiment. I need to experiment more with art and have fun.

I'm liking the idea of a badger. Loving the name Ignatius, or Iggy. Big, fat, stoner, hipster, slacker type. It's a comfy fit. I'm going to go in tomorrow and play with colors to see how the Note handles them. It may not be a full-time art rig, but it may work for sketchy and concept stuff.

...and yes, there may be something under those hastily-sketched in boxers in the final piece... ;)
