I decided to do some mock-ups of my hair if I decided to cut it, since I am seriously debating it. I tied my hair back, and left the bangs loose, and parted it differently, and this is what I came up with. So even if I don't go for the style I originally planned on, I know that this will look good and still give me the short hair I want. For some reason, everyone I know is losing their minds about me wanting to cut my hair. Seriously. My hair grows fast, so it's not like I can't ever have long hair again :/

I think you're one of those gals that's blessed to be able to pull off short hair ADORABLY! ;__;
Seriously, I think it would look wonderful on you, it would be a big change but if that's what you're ready for then go for it! Worst case scenario, it WILL grow back though I think you'll love how low maintenance short hair can be!
