How are they heretics whenever they aren't even human in the first place? The Greater Good is the most sensible solution to war in this gallaxy, a message of peace and understanding that encompasses EVERY race. We will win, and you still have a chance to save yourselves. heard 5th might be a littttlle bit harder for shooty armies like tau and guard... only because of the blocking line of sight shits, and then the 4+ coversave... xD

yeah theres gonna be a new rulebook coming later this year.. 5th edition.. and its gonna change the rules a bit.. just "tightening" and "firming up" the rules..

basically it makes shooting a little bit different (LOS and such) and making the game move a lil more faster..

a whole bunch of tweaks.. but yeah, it kind amakes it harder for shooty armies to just totally annihilate a assaulty army in 2 turns.. xD

Alright...but I think we're still gonna have the strong advantage in range like we do; that's why people play armies like these XP Anyways, I guess that measn I'm gonna hold off on getting a rulebook then XP

oh yeah! shooty armies will -always- have the advantage of being able to shoot down oncoming enemy, especially if they are in a well forified position! xD higher ground will also play a better role when i comes to shooting as (according to rumored pdf) being higher on the field lets you shoot over units, instead of blocking LOS. so yeah.. xD i would prooobbably just borrow a 4th ed book from someone, and then wait until 5th ed comes out... its either this summer or later in the year sadly.. :( but otherwise, yeah i would suggest atleast playing small games first.. xD
