One of several Audi R8's that made their entry into GT racing via Grand AM's GT rules, which seem close enough to international GT3 rules to go for a few more changes.
I'll be honest, part of me was a bit dismissive with the R8 LMS in racing but then it grew on me. It's an interesting beast and it'll be interesting to see how Audi fairs with a GTE/GTLM variant for 2014, along with what cars are going to be racing in the USCR 2014's GT-D category.
I'm more pleased with this one, though...I always feel a need for improvement. Plus this is a few months old...although is more on target than other attempts.
