Need's a scientific word
Not a melodic chord
People sing it all day
People do as they may
People want this and that
Usually shoes and a hat
People don't want, they need
God, it's a corruptive seed
Need is relevant
Usually with an element
Cells need food
And you're always in the mood
Cells need water
But you always howler
Cells need this to live
But you want flavor and fizz
So remember
As you're eating dinner
You don't need anything
Not even life
So your will to survive
Is simply just you, not wanting to die
