Thanks! ^^
And technically haven't startet it yet, have a temp site for it ( http://dra.subcultura.es/tira/1/ ) but I will post it there in Spanish. Was thinking of just uploading it here in FA.
Will find some placeholder Concept Art in that Spanish site, have uploaded other CA works to FA tho: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12330411/ , http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12330399/

From the trailer it seemed like the new Connor is just a T-1000, I do think they should have given it a distinct new design because it was already a bit hard to keep track with all the camera movement and likenesses between the two in a 4 minute trailer :V
By the way, will have Janus build some instalations like this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16966601/
The main idea for the character is that, hating religion, sees Icarus as the perfect example of the "most servicial killing of gods". Icarus did not kill the gods by blood or violence, but by just becoming like them, their existence is no longer unreachable and therefore die as mythos.

Actually John Connor is apparently a T-3000, according to Wikipedia. He's definitely more advanced than a T-1000 with a more solid body, and seems to retain his human level of intelligence rather than just being an unfeeling uncanny creepy thing. Sort of a bridge between both worlds I guess. He's an indication of what Skynet would probably do if humans didn't want to be exterminated, they'd transcend instead, even though they don't seem to retain very good morals. :p
I disagree heavily with BOTH sides on your story. They both seem like xenophobic extremists and so far I must be brutally honest and admit that none of the characters are sympathetic enough for me just yet. Hopefully that will change.

Well, I find it more interesting to have flawed and even characters that may look evil under some light than having flatter ones, but yeah, I see what you mean.
For the characters that have appeared so far, most of them are gonna have some serious development, heck [Spoiler?] Fran and Maat are gonna end up together, being them human and DRA and hating eachother for such in the beginning.
Factions, at large, are Janus (radical transhumanist who has seen the worst humanity has to offer and has become even worse), GOPD (who want peace between both races but screw up from time to time), the Bilderberg group (DRAs who wanna oppress humans), etc. But I like to center on each character a bit more.
But yeah, will have some good/boy scouts like Anubis, Prometheus, Aurumn...

Flawed characters are good (even my persona, Danji, has several flaws that I once had a serious problem with, such as paranoia and selfishness), don't get me wrong. I also like focusing on characters rather than just factions, though those are interesting in their own right. I just feel that, weaknesses or no, one needs to be able to find something of themselves or some other sort of familiarity with the character from an outside perspective. So far I haven't been able to relate to your characters, good or bad. That might just be me, or perhaps your story is much larger than what's been shown so far and we're just getting started.
