Vezoth is a Ta'Ruui that I received from 
Naomi-Wiflath. This is a closed species owned by her, but she has sold several of these gorgeous creatures. She has this to say about the species:

Diet: Omnivore
Magical Potential: Weak to Moderate
Intelligence: Human-Like
Social Structure: Very social; touchy feely with other community members. Trust is expressed based on how much physical contact is given to another individual.
Young: 1-2 live
Optional Background Info: Very few free and or 'wild' communities of this race exist anymore after their discovery by a hostile empire. Despite a valiant fight, the majority were taken as slaves- and thus are often found in the slave trade. Their magic is not extreme, but their bodes are very powerful- able to crush someone easily. Therefor they make both excellent guards, as well as companions due to their social and affectionate nature. To win their trust is a treasure in itself.
As for Vezoth himself, he is a wanderer and a loner by nature. Having yet to find someone that he trusts fully, he is content to hang on the outskirts. Despite being civilized, his morales aren't the same as some species, and he has no issues with abducting and consuming victims; all living things need to eat after all. He is very selective with his prey and will avoid parents with offspring too young to fend for themselves, prey that is too young or old, or prey that is disabled. Once his meal has been selected, he will abduct them in as quiet a manner as possible, show the proper respects to them, and then dispose of them. This process benefits him in another way as well, as the Ta'ruui has managed to obtain technology allowing him to assume the appearance of one that he has obtained genetic material from, allowing him to mingle with the rest of the world while searching for his purpose. While mingling, he is actually quite helpful and will perform odd jobs for money.
