I was granted permission by the fantastic artist Leigh Young to sculpt one of her bodacious babes. I chose of course the curvatious Frankie... Still a work in progress. Right now I have pulled her in to the first parts of the smoothing process. As with the Wick statue I will have to bake her in sections

How? How do you do it?? I was awful in my sculpture class. I butchered my teapot, and the best thing I got out of it was a Bowser figurine. LOL
And omfg you're doing Freckle too?? My boyfriend and I are quite interested in having a sculpture of yours in our home. I know that it's a joint thing between you and Tracy but just know there are buyers out there, lol.

Thank you for the note, laugh I do it through alot of patience, some swearing and abuse of dental tools and caffine, chocolate is a very important part of the sculpting process too. *laugh*
I'm doing a freckle as well full standing pose I got about half done with him and then he was just too big I couldn't fit him in my oven to fire so i'm starting again. What sculpture were you interested in? I do comission so long as you get permission from the owner.

With Sculpey you want it as smooth as possible.
When I worked with normal clay I luckilly did furry critters, I had an AWESOME wolf, that sadly had to be painted before I could fire it (art teacher promised to do it, never did, so I had to rush the painting before exam day x_X)Ofcourse, it broke within a matter of weeks. Erm, back to my point. Furry critters don't have to be smooth and the grain in normal clay does add a nice texture.
