I went much further into the year than I had planned without lining up the artist for the front piece of the 2013 Christmas card. I caught up with MehndiX after Anthrocon and asked if instead of doing line art, she'd be willing to do the color piece with my characters in color. Thankfully, she was willing to take on the project with less lead time than I prefer. MehndiX came up with the whole idea and placement of the characters.
