This is what I painted on the last painting lesson in my school this year. Photo doesn't show the actual quality though, it's much better irl ;)

I found it a lot more difficult to do watercolor than just about any other medium I've tried. I have a lot of respect for people who can do it well. While you can brute-force a sketch with pencil, or keep trying to get it right in acrylic or oil - with watercolor it's all about subtle hinting. And you only have one shot to get it right.
Nicely done on the trees, BTW.

Really? Interesting - I found watercolor the most difficult. With acrylics, it's like sketching. Anything I screw up, I can paint over pretty easily. With watercolor, you can make some changes but generally it's a light -> dark medium. Once you've put something down, it's usually there to stay.
What did you find difficult about acrylics?

Ah, yes. See - I find the fact that it dries quickly to be a good thing. Because if you screw up, you can paint over it quickly. But, yes, blending is difficult. And instead of water, use white base. Or whatever color you're using for your base.
But you do get really, really good at color matching. Particularly if you have go do a large, same-color area like a big sky. Practice makes perfect, right?
