Before I continue, I want to make it absolutely clear I adore this man. I adore him as a writer because he can create these extraordinary settings, atmospheres and creations based on things of reality. Some may not like him for his views, but I respect him more knowing that he changed his opinion on people despite his self-taught education and struggle with his prejudices. It is more important to read and understand what someone says when you do not agree with him/her (like Orson Scott Card) more so than finding books to enlighten your own perspective.
Top right:
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents."

"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is the fear of the unknown."

"Searchers after horror haunt strange, far places.
Memories and possibilities are even more hideous than their realities.
No new horror can be more terrible than the daily torture of the commonplace."
Bottom two cards are from Astounding: The Shadow Out of Time and At the Mountains of Madness by H.P. Lovecraft.
