yeah... A LOT of patience. -__- I've been natural for over 3 years now (going on 4), and my hair is only just a bit past my bra line... when straight. XD But to me it's worth it. I love having long hair. :) The downside for me though is that my hair makes me pretty hot when it's on my neck. But since it's been pretty cold out here since it's winter, it'd probably come in handy. XD

Oh, that's just about how long I've been growing mine out! Mine is now just barely past my hips. I love it, but when I shower it gets SO HEAVY I can hardly keep my head up ; ^ ; hurts so BAD
Yeah, long hair sucks when it comes to hot weather, but at least you can bundle it up in buns and stuff! Hint hint: putting a little peppermint oil on your scalp helps you capitalize on the occasional breeze.

mine isnt very heavy. it's too coily to gain any noticeable weight. It just... gets bigger... so there's still a lot of work when it gets longer, just a different type of work, heheh. XD And I'll definitely have to try that peppermint oil thing. Cause I'd definitely need it! :0
