Comish - Battle Plan
~~~
*Okay guys, enough with the passive-aggressive comments about the TNT crates already. Hasn't it occurred to you yet that they may be empty? *throws hands in the air* *
Epic Scene comish for
TankDragon of himself as Commander Blackfire (black dragon on the right) and myself
Twilightsaint as Muzafr (golden dragon on the left) crouching behind some crates on a fiery battlefield, discussing our next plan of attack to ruin someone's day! Bwahaha!
Dang, I loved working on this piece! I'm so happy with how all of it turned out! The poses and shading and details in the foreground and background, hehehe. Made the background nice and dark to contrast with the foreground and characters, and to make it look more dangerous and smoky, (love those smoke clouds in the distance.)
Based the setting details off the desert, of course - based more so off the Trans-Jordanian Hills and Dead Sea Valley outside the Judean Foothills. 'Customized' the crates a bit, too, some warning labels. The Arabic means 'danger.'
Tank with M16 and woodland camo, and me with my trusty AK47, (that one's not Nikki, hehe,) and desert garb. I loved working on Muzafr, hehe, the pose and scales and all. I loved making her look oh so devious. She's either saying to Tank, 'Don't worry bro, I fight these guys on a daily basis. I got this.' Or, 'Hal laista min huna, sahh?' Translation, 'You're not from here, are you?' *evil grin*
Also, if Muzafr looks different at all, I've been drawing her more 'dragonized,' you could say. Nixed her breasts and also made her neck and torso longer. Limbs are longer, and gave her longer, thinner wrists hands. Wallah I think the little scales on her fingers and toes turned out so nice. O.o
Thanks Tank! Hope ya like!
I like Muzzy's new look, it's very elegant and flattering. I've been considering planning a body-type change for Twitch sometime, making her thinner after the third graphic novel perhaps. But she rocks those long limbs and long neck, it works super well with her spines and long digits. She's just super long. XD
Empty or not does not matter in this case. Much like C4 does TNT require an initial explosion to detonate. Fire alone will just cause it to burn down and that is it. - Wait.. Why do I know such stuff? - Oh right... because I paid attention back in chemistry lessons.. However I would be more worried about the cover being capable of stopping projectiles from getting through to the people behind it than an accidental explosion.
Anyway... As far as the drawing itself is concerned you did an awesome job - Look at all the details in it! The scales, clothing and the guns mostly. Love it!
Playing a game of airsoft. My friends and I were pinned behind cover. It was five of us vs. 15 enemies. I ask what the plan was and my friend answered like this, "Alright, alright! Here's the plan... *Flicks his hand from his mouth like he is throwing away a cigarette* Taaa..." As the smoke cleared and the battle ended all enemy target were eliminated and only one casualty was suffered.
