Winning the election for mayor isn't all it's chalked up to be.
It's taken the better part of a year, but Vancouver is back on its feet. More of less. Tommy's been no small part of that success, but not everyone agrees with what he's been doing.
Nasty letters are just the start of it. By the time things are finished this wolf is going to go toe-to-toe with the most insidious threat yet.
And his greatest advantage will be worth nothing against this foe.
At long last we get to find out who that wolf is, and life begins to move on.
Don't have a clue what's going on? Welcome to the hunt. Start with the first book!
Great new cover curtsey of Diokhan

I've still got the epilogue to post for this story, but I'll be waiting for next week as it's a bit of a heavy hitter (That, and I've forgotten to write my Author’s Note yet!)

Now things are getting a little more interesting Sir, but I'm still wondering what kind of job Rebecca might take. Perhaps a certain Doctor at the General could use a good receptionist.... grins.....
I'm also curious about what role Brian had in the human exodus now. Plus it seemed kind of odd that he didn't question Tommy and E's statement that they had already tried being human.
"Far below, I watched Brian, the last survivor of the Cataclysm, as he hit the empty, cracked, ashphalt." I think that Thomas Taggart needs to be more open minded. He never knows who he might meet that could be a survivor of the Cataclysm. Perhaps he's already met one or tow and didn't realize it.

Hehe, sadly, her job was one idea that I never could get around to...
I'd say working with one particular Doctor could be a good idea, but after about two seconds of thought I think it would likely end up very, very badly.
Take two strong willed women, put them together in one office, and watch the sparks fly!
You're right about Tommy needing to be more open minded, but not in the way you're thinking. (Not that your wrong either...)
Oh, and this chapter has another one of my favourite scenes. It's rare than English's original character design gets to shine through, but the 'shoot without warning, shoot without mercy, and shoot again until he's dead' shows the cat still han some mercenary spirit left in him.
