Sometimes you just need to take the random words that come into your mind and slap them together, no matter how stupid it sounds.

That only works when they sound different enough to not all end up sounding the same. God why did I decide to weave this story 100% from scratch, I knew I was going to have to come up with names for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in it XP

Why am I so terrible with names? I can do just about anything else, but when it comes to names I'm just like "durrrrrrrrr... Ted?"

Gerg, Steve, Ommy, Duck, Bubbi, Snev, Lili, Lua, Neeni, Dada, Didi, Dudidaa, Berry, Stripes, Butt, Nipple, Spanner!!!!!!!

It's only hard when you want the names to be proper and perfectly fitting.

The problem with me I guess is I can't just string a bunch of sounds together and get something someone might conceivably name something with. Something like 'Sparglefleck' just sounds ridiculous, and while sometimes that's okay it's not so much when it's supposed to be like the Goddess of Death or something somewhat serious :|

I think that sounds like the perfect kind of name. You must believe in yourself! If your brain starts talking random things to you, there's a reason for it!

It's an okay name, just wrong for the situation I put forward. It's like 'I need a name that sounds graceful' and your brain comes up with 'spud' and you're like "no brain I'm not naming this graceful character after a potato." Worse is when you get stuck in a rut. Every single one of the female names I can come up with ends in 'a.' Every. Single. One. After the 7th or 8th one someone's gonna notice X3
