Guy: Tch... figured there had to be a catch.

*A Cutthroat mob agent happens to overhear the conversation between Guy and Lisa ((It is Lisa, right?)), and he calls on his radio further away...*

Cutthroat Thug: Boss, I've found the traitor. Seems he's speaking with some broad out on the street.

Voice on other end: Then what are you waiting for? Kill the bastard and be done with it! And kill that other lady with him, leave no witnesses!

*However, he doesn't even get to draw his pistol before a sniper round explodes right out of his head, putting him down for good... and this noise alerts Guy to his would-be assassin*

Guy: Huh...? It's another one of Victor's goons... but who fired...

*Looking off in the distance, he can faintly see a sniper in the distance... and he looks to be wearing the K17 uniform. He's not entirely sure, but Guy suspects that the sniper is glaring hatefully at him*

Guy: That sniper one of yours?

Yep. I always has Gunther with me.
But dont worry, he aint gonna shoot you, at least, not unless i give him the order...

Guy: Noted... *ulp*

*Mission Control has set up his sniping position further away, on an abandoned building opposite of the K17 sniper... but Guy calls on his radio*

Guy: Stand down, MC.

MC: What? But that sniper-

Guy: Just trust me. It'll all be fine...

*Reluctantly, MC lowers his weapon as Guy shuts off his radio and faces Lisa again...*

Guy: So... you don't really take kindly to competition, do you? I mean, I know you and your team take on a lot of jobs, so it must be bothersome for others to swoop in and steal potential profits...

Indeed it is. I've had to take out several low profit jerks who thought they were something special... Also, mind getting your guy away from Gunther? henrik doesnt like it when you threaten his brothers...

*Just then, MC felt the barrel of a gun being pressed against his neck, and a curved blade an inch from his throat*

Guy: I already told him to lower his weapon... now would you mind telling your own man to release him?

*Fortunately, Henrik realized that MC was already complying, so he lets him go... but his pistol is still pointed at him should he try anything funny*

Guy: Well, I can assure you that the Cutthroat Mob isn't like that.... they're like cockroaches, they can never truly be destroyed... heck, their boss is near impossible to find as well...

Uh huh. Have you tried taking one of their radios and trace the signal?

Guy: Actually, that was one of the first things we've tried... but each time we've done it, it was always a trap. Whenever we got to the source, his thugs were all waiting to ambush us, and we get no closer to finding him.

*sigh*

Guy: His thugs are pretty tight lipped as well. I've interrogated them at length multiple times, and even they don't know where Victor hides.

*An Armored Personnel Carrier rides onto the scene, and it bears the Phantom's insignia on its side... and MC is leaving the building from the ground floor, Henrik still with his pistol pointed at the back of his head*

Guy: That's why we're looking to increase our numbers. You know, train some more ponies under our command... because you've proven we're in need of more troopers.

*Unseen by everyone but Lisa, a K17 soldier plants a tracker on the vehicle as Guy and MC enter it...*

Guy: Well, I have to go now, Lisa... I need to restock our weapon supply.

*Before shutting the door, he smiles lightly*

Guy: If you really wish to defeat me, then I hope you stay alive. Until then, farewell...

*The vehicle shuts and rides away, and the K17 soldier who planted the tracker bug smirks...*

K17 Trooper 1: Heh, those suckers won't even know what hit them! Their headquarters will be easy pickings for us!

K17 Trooper 2: The location of the Phantom's base should be on your desk within the hour, Lisa. What shall we do in the meantime?

I hope so, those guys are rather tricky... Anyway, head back to HQ, Max Speed is preparing for an assignment and could use some help...

K17 Trooper: Yes Ma'am!

*With a salute, the soldiers get into their own APC and ride back to their HQ. It was only a matter of time now before the Phantom's headquarters comes under attack... and only time would tell if Guy and his forces would be ready...*
