Just a quick doodle of Jairus I did while I was taking a break or something.
Here's some info about him to not read:
Jairus possesses a lean look to him--tall and thin without looking emaciated or gangly. His frame is filled out well to match his height. Somewhat long hair rests atop his head, the ends of which curl slightly when it reaches the base of his ears.
The majority of his fur is the mottled look of a coyote--a subtle blend of softer browns and greys. This pattern is normal over most of his frame. However, the fur covering his paws to the middle of his forearm is a solid, bright red. This color disperses slightly, blending slowly into the regular mottled fur as it travels up past his elbow and onto his upper arms. Current medical knowledge tells him it was simply a unique genetic mutation, but the mystery behind it still induces society to be intruiged by him while simultaneously shunning him for the difference he bears. Because of this, he has taken to wrapping his forearms in strips of cloth, to minimize the display of that bright, unusual color.
With the milder climate in the world, he favors ankle-high boots, similar to a more familiar hiking shoe. He almost always leaves his home in long pants and a well-fitted shirt. He always makes an effort to look his best and to project the air of certainty. Though when he's at home he'll admit to much less restrictive apparel and a more relaxed nature--around the right individuals.
In colder temperatures, a pair of taller boots make their appearance, allowing him to tuck his pants right into the top of them to keep his legs dry in the occasional deeper snows. A peacoat cuts the wind on these days, the coat just as well-fitted to his frame as the rest of his carefully-selected items of clothing. When the weather turns truly frigid--though rarely--he shields from the temperatures with an added scarf in a greyed-out violet tone.
