OtherWords was doing a 'sketch-a-day' marathon back in 2012. This one somehow never got posted! So here we go!Once in a while, I'm in such a pleasant mood I want to reach out and hug something. Sometimes it's a person (but don't worry, I very rarely act upon this urge - too much respect for personal space!), but sometimes it's some abstract idea. Sometimes it's something so big and amazing you just have to be big and amazing to embrace it. Like, trees. Or a gorgeous sunset. Or this amazing little planet we live on.
So here's Rooth, expressing one of those moments for me. Soft planet, warm planet, little ball of water!

Australia's an easy guess. ;) But hard to say. I think the spirit we've tried to capture here is his love of the whole world -- not just how it looks in a particular place, or the weather, or whatever, it's how it all works, the life cycle we're all a blinking part of. :)
