Thanks very much :) I like the word tantalizing and yeah the idea was that it works at a distance but there is also something to make you look close.
I'm currently working on a similar idea for my flat with a skyscraper in 4 parts, many of the windows will have random things in them...very small things as each window will be 5mm across :P
