Just outta curiosity. where'd you find this drift wood? And any tips to an aspiring carver?

My friend just found it on a local beach. The dragon isn't made from driftwood though, that's just the base!

Probably around $200+ depending on size and details. I'd really love to do more sculpture commissions if the interest is there.

most impressive, you are the first ive seen to make such art our of driftwood....i have an offer of material for you, however im quite a ways away, but then again its hard to find a 30 foot piece of driftwood (at least if it were stretched and straightened it was that long). ive had many artistic ideas to do things with it, but i havent the talent or time, and i would rather see it in better hands
