It took the better part of a day, but Duncan finally found the truffles in a small clearing. He knew they were near his uncle's farm when one of the pigs had run off into the woods, only to wander back with bits of truffle in its mouth. He had to wait until he was alone, but it was worth it just to have the precious little fungi all to himself.

Unfortunately for Duncan, someone didn't appreciate him taking things without asking. At least now it'll be easier for him to root out more of those delicious truffles.
