2013 was the most intensive year I've ever had in the fandom with three cons in three different countries - Confuzzled in the UK, Eurofurence in Germany & Midwest Furfest in the US - plus two small furry get togethers, one in Houston, Texas and the other in Nottinghamshire, England.
Got to meet lots of new people this year, plus remained in contact and solidified friendships with those from previous years.

One very notable meeting this year was with  ludwiggoff, someone I’ve known in an online environment for over ten years, yet only met face to face for the first time in June. Needless to say, he certainly lived up to a decade of expectations! Ludwig introduced me to several of his fellow Texas furs and we had a very nice weekend in Houston. Didn’t do much due to the heat, but we had a good time simply sitting around and chatting at the hotel.

I also got to visit Colorado with  andyfox, spending a few days in Boulder and Estes Park, plus doing some hiking in the Rocky Mountains. The aggressive elk were more of a potential hazard than bears :p

Then, in late October I attended a great Halloween party in England hosted by  tenderpaws &  rocky_raccoon_uk, which was a really fun three days in the company of some great people. I'd met Tenderpaws in 2012, but got to know him a lot better this year thanks to two cons & this party. Loved it, and hope to do it again.

I hope 2014 proves to be just as fun!
