Blank Slate is an earth pony that was born in Ponyville. She's a bit of an anomaly because even though her age is equivalent to most of the Mane Six she is still a Blank Flank. This makes her a bit of an oddball in Ponyville but none the less she is very kind hearted and always has a smile on her face.

She works as a substitue teacher when Miss Cherrilee is ill or otherwise indisposed but is generally two soft spoken to keep much of a control on the students. She works lots of oddjobs around the town as she has no overall special talent, and as such she has a propensity to goof them up, though most of the citizens of Ponyville appreciate the help. She rents a room above the Couches and Quills shop near the center of town.

She has a huge crush on Book Smart but so far the unicorn hasn't seemed to notice her.
