You are so lucky, I wish we could have had snow this year at the place wehre I am living

Thank you! I do appreciate the area I live for the seasons.
I complain a little when it's too cold or hot... actually I complain a lot when its too cold or hot.
But I do not take it for granted, I absolutely love the changing of seasons, and try to capture it as much as I can.
You should come to the north east some time if you can, it is very nice (when the weather is with in reason.) : )

Oh my goodness! That's like, incredibly beautiful. I wish it would snow down here around where I am. The forest is always so amazing when covered in ice.

The forest covered in ice is way cooler than it is covered in just snow, it's hard to move around covered in snow, but a light layer of snow then ice, is AWESOME, I love it when it's ice coated, and light snow falls then freezes to that, and the sun comes out.
This only happens once in a great while, but when it does, it makes a fantasy glittery effect and the blue sky reflects and it is almost like a scene from a fantasy movie.
Sadly no photo ever captures the effect, unless I can find a way to shoot in stereo, the glitter just does not show up like it does in reality.

I love taking shots like this, I took this one while on my way to a job site, my boss called me so I pulled over to talk, as I hung up I looked over and saw this place, hidden down an embankment, and just had to go down and take the shot :D

My goodness this is just stunning! Well framed, love the scenery, that that one branch practically kissing the water really adds to it...wonderful shot. :D

I loved the branch too, it really drew me in and I had to get the shot.
Though not exactly the angle I wanted and the sparkling snow didn't show as much as I had hoped, it still got the fairy tale feel.
This was like a scene out of the movie "Legend" :)

Oh it was, and it was awesome because it was just after the snow stopped, so there was that weird muffled silence about the place, and the fresh crisp air smelled so good, it was a great day and I loved being there, even if it was just for a few minutes.

Be sure to get photos after today's storm!

Today's storm wasn't as photogenic as I wished lol and the snow blower and tractor not working made me like it even less.
Driving in it made me like it even less than that.
And by the end of the day(s) there was no sun and I had seen nothing to photograph, soooo I will have to wait until maybe this weekend to get back out and shoot, if I get the time :)

It was gorgeous through S. Berwick, and I just checked out an apartment in Rollingsford! I can't wait to be home!

I got back to Kennebunk for the sunset, and it was turning the church steeple gold against the purple-pink of the sky! It was pretty intense! I hope you can get a chance for shots like that in the near future!

lol it looks cool as a 5x7, but 8x10 you can totally see like, every stick its crazy.

kinda i mean if you wanna see all the twigs n shit but the smaller version is great for cards or whatevs cuse you get the idea of the shot without being drown out by detail, i guess the larger one is more like, i dunno its just a bit bigger and more twiggy thats all

The smaller version resembles more of a painting...
