First human hand I've tried to draw in awhile. It kicked my butt. I can see a lot of mistakes here but I'm going to be drawing a lot of hands in the next few days to try to get better at it. On another note I really need to clean the glass on my scanner

Thank you. I noticed the same thing with the wrinkles, I want to convey the many wrinkles in the hand but it makes it appear much older. Next time I'll try shading the picture then maybe the wrinkle lines wont stand out so much and they'll seem more natural. Thanks for pointed out that it was more upturned. I didn't catch that
The upturn is very slight. I took another look, and the angling is all accurate. I think the upturn is mostly an optical illusion created because the middle finger looks a bit thicker in your drawing. You might be right about the use of shading. You'll know that a lot better than I will, but it seems like it should work.
