I am proud to be able to see improvement in myself! Sometimes even month-to-month. I wish it were a bit more drastic but growth is all I can wish for!

Who are undeniably looooaaadds loads loads better than I am. Which is fine, y'know there's always gonna be someone out there better than you at something in the art world. But that is my GOAL. That's where I want to be, that's how breath taking and awesome I wish to become. So I push myself every time I draw. I really, really try each time to make it better than the last. Improvement is extreeeemeeelly important to me as an artist. If I'm not showing it--if people can't look and see that I've gotten better over the past year without squinting and being like 'hmmm maybe, I can see what they're talking about', that means I haven't been meeting my own goals and expectations. And sometimes it takes a bit of a slap in the face to realize it. u Ou
So don't feel bad, yo, you were being honest. And I know you LIKE my art, and that's great--thank you! It's all just making me more determined to succeed as an artist, which isn't a bad thing.
