I had a Grafire 2 pen go bad on me, to the extent that it would only work if you bent the circuit board, which is why those innards loof familiar.
Good thing I ordered a replacement beforehand when I first misplaced that one. It now resides behind the dresser where I threw it after failing to find what was wrong with it :)
