Edit: Ah! So this is likely my last upload for 2013 so--thanks for all the support you gave me in my art this year everyone! It means a lot. This year was a tough one for me, working towards more productivity in the new year.

Testing new brushes and did some warm up doodles before working on commissions! I decided to do some little portraits of my friends' characters.

Oh..oh my were the only words I could immediately muster when I clicked this link. You captured all the characters so beautifully!! I didn't even need to look up who they were for (well 2 being easy guesses ;] and all). Thank you for starting my new year on such a bright note and with a smile leading the way into 2014. Thank you for also being part of the trail and sharing your artistic journey with me. Also thank you for drawing Bagheera and Balaa with such elegance and sorry for the confusion on species. They are more or less a weird anomaly of cat and you captured their essences flawlessly!
Also what a wonderful idea for warmup doodles! I think I will have to borrow this idea! Lastly, I love the brushes you used for this (are they in the pack you sent me which I still haven't had a chance to gander at?)

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this - I don't even remember for how many years I've admired your art now. *___* The style by which you draw felines has always been one of my favorites.
And sorry for the species-confusion. I am technically still a leopard - the pointy ears are due to our... ahem... affinity for elves. xD I am not sure what Balaa is now, though - she doesn't really know either. :P
