This is Holly Seams -or Holly to her friends. Holly is… a bit of an oddball; she’s difficult to be around unless you’re capable of handling a headstrong yet slightly manic personality. She owns a costume store in Trottingham, and she makes all of the costumes in the store herself, even the metal parts that require an anvil, engraver, or furnace to create. She prides herself on her costumes almost as much others hold praise to her capacity to hold sugar.

She earned her Cutie Mark when she was little, after a bet/dare with Frosty Doublescoop. She had been disheartened to discover that he had gained his cutie mark during the course of his efforts to complete the dare after he had been deemed to have failed, but she was overjoyed when she earned hers creating the costume that he still wears as his payment for losing; her first true piece of craftsmanship. She was quite proud of the armour when he donned it, pleased with herself that she had done so well. That he still wears it to this day she finds most endearing about him.

Her skills in costume design are quite profound, even earning her a little prestige by assisting the renowned fashionista Rarity in designing the costumes for the Hearths’ Warming pageant that Rarity and her friends were a major part of, even participating in their creation by working the metal components and scrollwork on them. Since then she’s been a frequent visitor to the similarly alabaster unicorn simply for tea and light conversation or gossip.

She wears one of her favourite costumes herself as a uniform when she works at her store, the powerful and slightly imposing outfit something she spent almost a month creating and of which she is quite proud; most of that time was spent designing and redesigning the scrollwork on its metal plates. Despite her sharp tongue and sometimes erratic and explosive personality, she gets on oddly well with Doublescoop; despite, or possibly because of the fact that it was she who made the costume he wears at all times besides when sleeping and bathing. Still, the two have shown no real romantic interests in one another, probably due to his usual sullen silence grating against her need to make noise.

There have been times that her friends liken her to Ponyville’s almost notorious Pinkie Pie, but Holly can’t see the connection herself.

She can’t be THAT annoying…
