Plenty of open working space, extended space on the elevation so I'll stop knocking my drink over... the little shelf on the right leg is for dirty dishes, the space under that is just right to lean my backpack into. The tower sits in the left leg, raised above the floor, easy access to the USB ports on the front, and the optical drive. There's a small shelf on the center leg for the logitech z313 subwoofer. There are two triangle sections "smoothing" the front profile for a) improved ergonomics and b) proper elignment of the center monitor and my bamboo pad. LED backlighting will probably be included, plugstrips on the under-side, etc.
More importantly... There isn't room for this right now, as I've got a bit of a hoarding habit (at least I know it)... so having a big project like this is a wonderful excuse to do some... winter? cleaning???
I've printed out piece plans, and will be doing some retail browsing today to find good material/figure out sizes+how much material I'll need. Afterwards I'll be back in sketchup lining things up to print out the final go-by sheets, which I may put up here or on DeviantArt if anyone asks.

The program is the latest version of what used to be Google Sketchup, I have no clue who owns it now but they've sure messed up the interface... (I'm actually having to learn the keyboard shortcuts.)
All components were made by me, even the monitors.
To my knowledge this complies with the AUP, if it does not I'm fine with it being taken down, but I'd like to be informed as to where the infraction is.
