A forming series? :o Do tell?

Well I was really stumped for my senior work because I wasn't really putting out any message... in the Ismenara series I have this old myth about Creatures of Vitesta, and how they were created by a team of sorcerers rather than naturally evolved. I started thinking about animal rights and decided I would focus on that, so the whole series is related to how humans have manipulated and/or destroyed so many species throughout history. I'm quite excited about it, because this type of drawing lets me experiment with a lot of formal issues as well :)

That's a phenomenal idea! Are you going to focus on any specific species? Multiple species? Or any specific event/genocide of animals in particular?

Well in Ismenara land I'll be working with lots of different types of animals, I don't always want to know how the piece will turn out. It's nice to let the medium form the animal sometimes :) I don't necessarily have an event but I definitely want to refer to domestication, animal testing, and how we use animal parts.
