When I first started uploading videos to YouTube back in 2007, I thought "Only a few furries will watch them." That's sure changed for me.
I really think YouTube is one of the biggest reasons why the Furry Fandom has grown so fast in the past decade. When I first saw YT I realized then it could be a great place to promote the fandom. One of the reasons I started making videos was to counter all the bad misleading press furries got (and still get) and to show how much fun this fandom can be.
Back then I used to get angry messages from plenty of stupid "Yiff in Hell" trolls. Now its 8 year old kids telling me "I Wanna Be a Furry!" Oops.
Until I added them all up, I had no idea I made and uploaded 35 Videos this year and somehow got over 150,000 views from all around the world. And that doesn't count the thousands of pics I took at TFF, FWA, AC & MFM too.
Except when Sony Vegas crashes or when YouTube gives me copyright ID bullshit (which I manage to tolerate) it sure doesn't seem like work. My videos and photos are my way of giving back to the fandom that I love.
And there's still more video on the way as soon as I can find time to sit down and edit them. Thanks Fur Watching!

WildBill, you have done a lot of great things for the community. So many fun pics and videos. I like going through your collection and reliving all the fun time I have had in the past. This year will be different for me because I will have to go in for possible ankle surgery next week. It stemmed from twisting my ankle during MFM, and in fact this entire past year has really sucked for me con wise. For now I only have Megaplex and MFM in the plans for 2014. Take more pics and videos so we all can enjoy the goofiness.
Owwch that sucks. I'm undergoing dental work right now. I had a decaying tooth pulled today and have a temporary bridge thats going to have to last for 2 months for healing.
I dont think I will go to FWA because I hated the hotel and dont care much for Atlanta. I may go to Motor City Fur Con (which replaced FCN) in Novi Michigan instead.
I looked through my MFM videos, but I didn't really shoot a lot last year. I hope theres enough footage for a random moments video.

I agree with YouTube helping out the fandom and it's growth. Watching hilarious videos of fursuiters and con videos got me interested in the fandom and BAM, couple years later now I'm doing something I never thought I'd be doing, haha! So yes, technically YouTube turned me into a furry!
