Well, i don't know what to say other than "Check out this picture i drew! I like how it came out. It was a lot of work."
Ink-Eyes, a character from the Magic: The Gathering multiverse who is badass and awesome. Rat ninjas ftw
Oh, and the crisper, clearer version is viewable on dA -> http://ecmajor.deviantart.com/art/I.....Eyes-424041846
.
Also, I still have a few of these playmats up on ebay for anyone who might want one. -> http://www.ebay.com/itm/121411731017

Awwww yeah.
Ink-Eyes is one of my favorite all time characters. I loved the set, and the Nezumi were great.
Nothing quite like fetching someone's Kokusho from the graveyard for yourself.

I agree! I would enjoy seeing it, and a whole Alara. Since I missed these set (Began in Unlimited, and left n Nemesis the first time!) I've only gotten to play then with the other bits and pieces. Return to Ravnica was interesting for me, as was the return to Mirrodin the couple sets before, though.. I must admit, the rebirth of Phyrexia made my happy from a nostalgia standpoint..!
Thanks!
Hmm, i don't know... it would depend on the printing process. I have seen card alters done digitally that are somehow printed on the erased face of a physical card - though i don't necessarily trust that method >.>
If you mean more traditional card alteration via painting, well... i've never done that, and i don't know if i could handle the tedium and miniscule sized canvas. I dunno! D:

Well i can't stop you - however if you want to hold off for a short while i will be selling a few of these mats, printed with the full-res image.

Heh, it's definitely perfect if you play an Ink-Eyes EDH, or any Nezumi really (One of mine uses Marrow-Gnawer as general, but Inkie is in there of course ;P)

Thought I'd chime in on a few pieces of yours I've particularly liked recently. Now, I never tire of nice, plump, My Little Pony teats, but Ink-Eyes has always been a favorite of mine, and this is a wonderful rendition. The action pose of the weapon makes up for her less exciting pose.
Thanks! Ink-Eyes here is actually a nezumi (race of rat-people) from the Kamigawa plane in the Magic: the Gathering universe. The art from the card, if you care to see - i tried to capture the same energy and movement as in the original image of her. I'm glad it worked out pretty well!
