Appearance:

Boombox’s body is covered with a densely packed short fur that is light blue in color, while its tail is long haired. It has dyed the fur on the top of its head in an orange color with yellow spikes.

Its large round eyes are unusual for a Qwuedeviv and are light blue in color.



It’s most commonly seen wearing a standard gray and red officer uniform with a heavier un-armed coat over it in the same color.

However, it is the large speaker device over its shoulders that are the most iconic part of its appearance. The sheer size of it makes the Qwuedeviv appear larger than it is and gives it a voice that will blow everything away.


Personality:

Although it is silent and calm by nature, many Qwuedeviv has claimed it loud and obnoxious.

It demands control and it wants to make sure its instructions are clear and the way it can convey this is through the use of its high powered speaker device and through the usage of a pointing stick.



Through lot of conflicts with other Qwuedeviv and the hard life it has experienced, Boombox has turned indomitable. It doesn’t fear conflict and doesn’t yield as it is the first to headfirst enter the unknown.

This trait has led to Boombox looking menacing. It can scare away creatures of lesser will with an unwavering stare and shouting at them with a thundering voice.



Boombox is a stalwart member of any team it has been part of and makes sure that those who serve under it are taken care off.



Background:
Made an example out of itself in the Academy, proving to both have the wits and skills to lead.

Its abilities was put to the test several times though practical exercises on various worlds and on the home world itself.

During an incident of friendly fire where a rifle was misfired and ripped apart Boombox’s throat, the chances of its survival was low. Through extensive medical surgery and care, air pipes and blood vessels were eventually repaired, but the vocal cords and general structure of the neck had taken permanent damage.



Without a voice, it would not be able to lead. The Qwuedeviv fell into depression and began searching for ways to make itself useful without its voice.

After giving up, it offered itself to the scientists of its race. This was the turning point of its life.

They constructed a device which gave it a voice. It had once again a purpose and wanted to repay those who helped it find a way back.



It is now the leader of a crew piloting a science vessel. Their goal is to find ingredients on worlds, in order to help the Qwuedeviv create powerful combat stimulants.



Gear:

Extendable Pointing Stick/Shock Prod – Capable of delivering shocking blows in combat and when needed, the most common use of this stick is to grab the attention of Qwuedeviv around Boombox.

Speaker Device – A three piece construction which can, when put together, generate an artificial voice for Boombox. At max volume, it is loud enough to generate wind-like shockwaves.


Trivia:

Whenever Boombox speaks, it looks the one it is speaking to in the eyes. It doesn’t help that Boombox both stares and tries to force them to watch it in the eyes by using his stick to guide their heads.

Sometimes the volume gets a little off when it grabs the trigger from its coat. It might be way too loud or almost silent.

Boombox doesn’t have its speaker device on all the time. It will respond with nods or head shakes if it’s off.

Boombox has great respect for doctors and scientists in general, thanks to them saving its life and giving it back a purpose to exist.

The voice generated by the speaker device has a slight tone of Qwuedeviv, but is otherwise mechanical
