Found the cutest giant luna moth a while ago and just had to show it. I never knew these lived in my area. I've already seen 2-3 and they a beautiful. They almost look fake but I reassure you they are full of life.

It's scared me so much the first time I saw it xD didn't even know what it was.
And up in New Jersey, never knew these beautiful moths could be in my region. I've only seen a handful and they are hard to find, at least from what I know :3

I kinda almost wonder if they have migrated to new areas, they were known in our area and its been years since i have seen a luna moth here in pa. we see the Goliath moths but not the luna's anymore

yeah i think its been probably 8 years since i have seen one and i used to see them all the time, they would cover my grandparents shed making it green rather than red lol

lol they were, its a little sad not seeing them now they were one of my favorites growing up. they may still be around but they seem to be very sparse if they are still in western pa
