A creature I came up with years ago that I decided to revive for my final in Basic Drawing (Fall '07, methinks). Drawn in blue ink using a fountain pen, shaded with hatching, traced off a pencil drawing using a light table for fear of ruining the original. Let's face it... I'm not exactly stellar with inking. I am jittery-handed and skiddish. XD

Both, actually--I wanted to create a creature that could adapt to multiple types of terrain. The arms are the main transportation and used mainly for walking or climbing on dry land while the tail is used in the water or when one of the arms is either injured or used for something like snatching prey. The earlier designs also included a telescoping neck.
