About a month ago (around Thanksgiving) I spontaneously embarked on an apparently random project to capture time lapse en masse, something I'd never delved into before with any sort of seriousness and approached with a kind of naivety that was quickly matched by the true challenge of time lapse as an entirely different medium. I learned a lot in a month's time, starting off with half-assed JPG sequences and soon stepping up to full RAW processed sequences. It's been a hell of a learning experience, and I find my affinity for the medium a refreshing branch away from my typicals stills shooting and a meditative test of patience.
Early on I set myself up with the goal of producing a time lapse compilation before the year's end and linked below is what I came up with. It's a very amateur production at best, bottlenecked by software and my own limited knowledge of proper video production, but it's here for all to see regardless, at worst as a proof of progress in the medium. So click a link, watch the video, and either enjoy or comment with criticism, I'm happy with both as I learn.

Pretty freaking nice actually. I would say while you definitely had some awesome shots in there, (The bridge and lake ones in particular) I would make sure to focus on light more, since there usually the most visually interesting part of time lapses or even shoot with more urban centers or from the building roofs you had in previous photos of yours
Yeah, both are ideas I had in my head already and would do well to heed. I've admittedly been a pussy about the cold so everything I've done has been in a locale where I can sit and stay warm in my car. Imagine once it warms up I'll be more apt to lapsing more interesting stuff. In the mean time there are a couple parking garages in the city that I can splurge the $5 to chill in while I run a lapse. Just can't stand this cold, it physically hurts. x.x
