The shading for this piece is nice, and the background does a nice job of establishing a setting while staying simple.
On the downside, the highlights for the piece feel a bit too bright; I feel like I'm being blinded when I look at Ryan's upper torso. Also, his thighs looks like they're spaced too far apart; I feel like his legs were popped out of his hip sockets...
Other than that, the piece looks nice.
