The fur and ears are totally removable; they were attached to the helmet with several strips of velcro, making this an easy-to-clean design.
Already tested for paragliding by the commissioner; proved to be comfy and unobtrusive, which can be an important point for somewhat less extreme activities as well, such as LARPing ;) (For those of you who might be interested, I shall post a video of its test run sometime in the coming spring ^^)
