The War with the Reapers, has been raging for Six years and with no end in sight. The Gryphon Empire was under major attack, the first to be Invaded were the Outer Colonies, and word spread of a force that couldn't be stopped, Seven months later the Inner Colonies were hit and hard, been the Gryphons had hope, and with that all of the Armies and Taskforces of the Mighty Empire, returned fire on the Reapers, and the War raged for years. But on the sixth year of the War, the Scientists of Talson Prime built a huge network of Sky Claws that spread across the Galaxy, devices were built to lock-on to the Reapers Hive mind and send a EMP blast and destroy the Reapers forever, and so once the Sky Claws were activated, all Reapers stopped dead in the Galaxy, and the Gryphon vessels fired and destroyed them all, and so Victory was Assured.
