Not particularly, my statistics seems like they were a few years out of date... Seems like low-end systems are about 1000-2000 ish.
My only concern is that my current CAD software, Sculptris, may require tweaks to work with. And that Kog'maw is not exactly the best balanced of creatures (I lengthened his "tail" and club for this reason)
and that the model may be difficult to build up under his own weight. Not to mention the base of his feet are not quite flat in this model (due to the difficulty of doing so in Scultpris)

There are sub £1k printers now, I think there's even a few sub £500 ones too.
As for the file export, there's a number of applications and tools available to do it, and, depending what printer you get, probably one that comes with it that will convert OBJ into the slitted layer format that the printer can read.
If you want to do it, you should look into it, 3d printing has moved forwards leaps and bounds in the last 5 years, still far from perfect of course, but it's quite a bit more obtainable than it was even 2-3 years ago.

Heheh, It'd be a fun little hobby to make money from. (attrocious set-up fees though :P)
Unfortunately, you wont find me anywhere near a sewing kit, so a plush Kog'maw is not going to be done.
If you really want models, Im sure there is someone else on the Interwebs that is equipped to make them

Glad you like him.
Probably about 2 hours (actual work, I procrastinate a lot...) on my Laptop while out, and then another 2-3 hours on my main computer to add his body, his nested-mouths, and finish up the details. Maybe a bit longer, but I dont keep track of time too well. (So, 4-7 hours total)

Alien = Void for League.
Those champions are:
Kha'Zix - the Human-bug looking one (or even Scyviper from pokemon)
Cho'Gath - the large one with multiple arms
(RECENT) Vel'Koz - a Floating eye with tentacle appendages. Has a Death ray ultimate.
Yeah, it takes a bit to become half decent. But nothing beats a good laugh when you start doing stupid things and it actually working as a tactic - it does help to have some friends who also play and can share in these experiences.
