made more changes to my shirt,
leather backing in the shoulders, as well as several layers XD
also added a leather spine, with 4 buckles in the back, makes it easier to put on and take off.
also moved the bottom taper to the front, and will be putting some leather on the back of it as well.
its far from perfect, but for a first try im fairly happy with how it came out XD

ahh yes, that is the problem id been having with mine. that is the main reason i did this. the leather adds a good amount of padding.
if you add leather make sure its a strong thick piece.
also thinking that having it attache to the front/back of the shirt is better than on the shoulder sections.
