Do you remember that lynx-wolf hybrid lady of the Sketch Set 07?
Well... Cyborg-Steve commented he imagined her as Kami's rival o_O That idea remained in my mind for some time and then I quickly developed her personality, gave her titles as a goddess and also thought about her possible background story (but everything pretty superficial, nothing defined nor decided yet), although I'm not sure if I'm keeping her, but probably I will. Anyway, I still need to develop her better.
So... This lynx-wolf hybrid female accommodated at the left is Hyva, goddess of luck and good omens (she would be the goddess of Death, totally opposing Kami, but that didn't suit Hyva), her personality is mostly the opposite of Kami's, although she is not evil, actually Hyva is good, but she's kind of selfish sometimes.
As a goddess Hyva thinks she must be worshiped and her attitude, as the luck goddess, is something like "I'm already in front of you, don't you think you're lucky enough just to be seeing me?".
She would never hurt anyone, but sometimes she puts her personal interests (or pleasure) as first priority and other times she can be mischievous.
Here, at this scene, Hyva and Kami are arguing. Kami doesn't like Hyva's attitude.
Kami: "As a goddess you should help the people, not amuse yourself at their expense!"
Hyva: "As a goddess I must be worshiped! The more they love me the more they feed me and I become more powerful! Just like you."
Kami: "That's different. The way I reach their love is taking care of them, helping them, loving them back. "
Hyva: "See! People also worship you!"
Kami: "People don't worship me, not like you're thinking. They have faith on me, they trust me... You should care about people Hyva... "
Hyva: "I care about them. Really! Right now I'm just giving them what they want..."
Kami: *sigh* "Hyva, just... please, don't harm them..."
Hyva: "Relax Kami, I need worshipers, not souls!" *giggle*
Kami: "I'm serious Hyva, please be careful, it would be even better if you stop doing that." *sad and worried look*
Hyva: "Okay Kami..." *Hyva gets her paw off the planet and stands up.* "I like to mess with you, but I can see you're heavily worried..."
