not to sound like one of the hard-core drill sergent critique peoples at yerf, but...ooooh work up that background sistah! I can't wait to see this one finished up in color =) too cute. love that hair!

*laughs* :) It's weird, I actually wait and do the backgrounds with only markers and light outlining. I WISH I could achieve that with characters... I'd like to be a little less heavy on the outlines with them! ;)

aahahaha, well, you have to be slightly neurotic to love drawing backgrounds with insane amounts of detail anyways!

I'm still trying to get past the whole "just standing there!" pose, and the "white background of death!" scenery.

It's very lovely. ^_^ My only critique is that she would have a very hard time leaning back like that and still standing up. That or the rings are concrete models of their not-quite-so-sturdy pool toy relatives. XP

She is absolutely lovely. I LOVE the way you draw faces. So, so, so cute! No, really, it's those wonderful eyes, and you draw muzzles really well, too.

But yeah, I agree. Something solid under the innertubes would help quite a bit. Or, the next picture would be of a very, VERY surprised jackal falling back into a pile of tubes... ^^

Of course, you know I've admired your art the moment I discovered it. ^_^
