
I was actually planning to play with burning and tea staining when I picked this picture but decided to leave it alone after I finished it =)
This is a paper burning which was completed using the same methods as my wood burnings. The "color" you see is the natural color of the burnt paper at various temperatures.

I thought for sure it would catch fire but it doesn't, in fact you have to turn the heat up on your burner for paper!
Paper is harder to burn than wood that is for sure, its harder to achieve the even shading tones.
There is this one guy I watch on Facebook that does out of this world paper burns....they look like photographs! Its amazing!
