For the record, it apparently comes via a Hong Kong newspaper that's tied to the Chinese government. Another report indicates that the uncle was executed by the slightly more standard means of anti-aircraft artillery. Slightly, as I say.

While Korea's government can't be trusted to tell the truth about who's abusing what powers, I do like this event of feeding government officials to wild animals if they don't do their jobs properly. No matter what country you are from, there's likely a few Grand High Phone-it-in's who should be forced to do a real day's work, for the first time in ages, at their job. Perhaps they would be more understanding of those "other people" who they demand not ever slacken their pace for even an instant. "Just because you're wearing a tie doesn't mean you're of any bloody importance."
