Neffie (actual name, Nefertiti, which is bloody appropriate!) is one of my cats. She is SUCH a princess.

The fur, which has about a half-inch pile, was originally plain; I added the stripes with India ink and a fabric dye marker. The marker doesn't wash out in cold water, but the ink does. So I can't ever wash this tail. Heh...here's hoping that I don't drop it in the toilet!

The stuffing is a length of cotton piping, the kind they sew fabric around and make quilt accents out of. Whee?
