Damn, this guy's stuff is really cool... I knew OF him but hadn't looked at his work! ^^"
I love his reds and his scarlets and his vermilions, you're right, he did know how to handle them! Sizzles on the eye...
Here's some good shit on red http://thedelightsofseeing.blogspot.....11/colour.html
And I'm a pinch colorblind with greens, so color fucks with me often... but I love Josef Albers and Erich Sokol, I'd look at those if you're trying to find cool combinations to steal ^^

Wooh, I brought you something you don't know 83(well, only by name so half success)
Ahh, then I know why you wrote about that illusion earlier(or later, late replying). But can't colour-blindness be used in some creative way?
Okay, I'll look through them. I might need it, I'm not very good colourist.

We're both having days like that - I just introduced a big-name fatfur to the concept of paczki. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/128...../#cid:80323889 (My hometown, Chicago, has more Poles than Krakow, and I honestly can't imagine Fat Tuesday without Paczki, it's hallowed tradition (even if you're not Polish) to at least try to eat one. Just think, AMERICANS find Paczki too fatty and rich to eat more than two of; I'd say you've won the contest.)
Lots of great artists were/are colorblind, it's a valiant struggle. Clifton Pugh, Charles Meryon, Robert Fawcett, Peter De Seve... And they managed to use it creatively! Meryon devoted himself to etchings; Fawcett developed a gigantic vocabulary of lines and textures to compensate!
It even has advantages. Peter De Seve (who arranges his watercolors with labels and restrains his palette)... after he published this http://www.peterdeseve.com/images/ill/ill10.jpg New Yorker cover, people complained - "What? Lobsters are blue, they don't turn red until after cooking!" and "These awful people - RED WINE with LOBSTER? NO! That's an offense to good taste!" He simply pointed out that he was colorblind... they shut up! To hound him for not painting colors he couldn't see, that's just mean! XD

Aaawwwww X3333. You know that according to tradition pączki are made with potatoes ;D
I like them with chocolate mostly c; that's quite a variation of them. And the more fat and sugar the better! Woho, that's a good score, I could eat maybe three at once X3
Simple truth, you cannot strive to be like others, but use your own abbilities to create, no matter what they are. Just use what you have.
Most simple people wouldn't even notice those two things. Lobster are red in Disney movies after all xP.

That must be my Irish side that makes me love pączki then.
Chocolate Paczki? I'll have to look around for that next year, that sounds insanely good. You've built up an incredible tolerance then 0.0
I'm fairly certain when the Italians came to Chicago, it was the Poles who invented Deep Dish, because pizza simply wasn't fattening enough. (We take a perverse pride in how big our Pizzas are... I've eaten one that weighed four pounds. The joke is "a New York pizza can make a very good Chicago pizza box.")
Everybody around the world tries to beat America at making giant, fatty foods (Canada invented "Poutine," which literally means "mess" and is made of cheese curds, pommes frites, and gravy), but America has a "worst food in the world" for all 50 states. http://www.chicagotribune.com/health/sns-c-50-fattiest-foods-across-the-nation,0,6258549.photogallery I've eaten several of these...
You can't use what you don't have, good point there!
Yeah, it's... People only see lobsters when they're red and cooked on a plate. But in the New England region, lobsters are a source of regional pride, the most famous food they have. They'd notice it, and they complained, just as you'd notice if someone in a Hollywood movie made a "kielbasa" that was neon blue and covered in spikes. XD
