Cheetaan & Cheetaan Legacy unfinished image montage, as of 2013
So that's how I end up never releasing anything. And this is just the better part, not even including pixel pieces constructed for the actual game.
What are shown here:
The Cheetaan (tani), all three races, including the dragons in their final form. One image shows an attacking Hrakarat, a mechanical race, with one of their large meches looming in the background. The sketches mostly show the lizards, who have no human pronounceable name as they don't have vocal communication.
Why these images are left unfinished?
Most of those which are more detailed have certain flaws which are hard to correct at this point, so it does not really worth finishing them (it may be easier to just restart). The less finished ones are simple concept sketches which I worked on some to get some inspiration for either the game's storyline or the biology (or mechanic) of the particular race and when they accomplished this, I felt it unnecessary to keep working on the piece. My primary goal is fleshing out the races, composing the storyline, not doing random digital art. Pixel art is an other story though as it is what the game will be made of!
So that's it. If interested, I can talk about one or another piece, some of the races; I am just not in the mood to write up lengths of this stuff just now and here. There is way way more to the Cheetaan trilogy than what I could convey in a few words, and it is still far away, so sure no spoiling.
