Some of you may remember this piece of Rooth'roo hugging the moon, and this one of Rooth'roo hugging the whole damn planet. You may recall how I described this feeling: Because sometimes I'm driving along, and feeling pretty darn good about stuff, and I just want to hug this world, because I love it so. All the things about it. It's just a neat place. An amazing place. And if i had Rooth'roo's powers, and Rooth'roo's lack of sense, I'd grow gargantuan and just hug the place. Mine.
Well, this is another one of those things that inspired this pic. The moon is just neat. And it's not shaped like a crescent, but it's pure fantasy, ok, gawd. [/tired]

Rooth, I don't comment on your art and commissioned stuff enough. You seriously seem to be a really great guy. I know I already shouted this at you, but please keep being you, ok? Cus your planet hugger there is an amazing critter, and I'm very thankful to you for all the times the goofy things you have Rooth do have cheered me up over the years. Roodragons rock!
Capturing your shout: Rooth..you stay awesome, ok? Any time I feel like I'm getting too narcissistic and over the top about my roo, I just look at your page and all the stuff you get involving rooth and feel better about myself <3 <3 <3 hehe
LOL! Oh, no worries, I'm narcissistic enough for the both of us. ;)
But, more seriously: Rooth'roo was born out of a very depressing time in my life. His goofy, nonchalant, happy-go-lucky demeanor was a critical factor in turning that around. At the time, I hadn't yet gotten into commissioning art, I only role-played as him on FM. But when I did, people generally enjoyed his antics, people cheered up, often played along, and a good time was had by all. His happiness, though artificial, was contagious, and it begat genuine amusement, a virus of its own to combat the plague of sadness that was trying to consume me (and those around me!) back then.
It would seem that although commissions have largely supplanted roleplay, Rooth'roo's still "got it". Woot! >:^)
